Nothing says June this year better than the World Cup – and Micaiah has learnt to hold a ball still on the ground and then kick it!
We’ve finally caught up! April was a dry month for photos because of all the havoc of croup and the general busyness with preaching – but May saw a very healthy crop capturing Micaiah’s developing ability to point, climb, play and hold.
Over this week Micaiah has suddenly become more opinionated and obstinate at times, both Anna and I had to discipline him on several occasions. He isn’t 2 yet!
It was in March that Micaiah discovered his love for dumplings – and thats a great God-send because up till then he hasn’t really enjoyed eating solids very much. A big thanks also to a few of the sisters who’s been make dumplings for him – we are very very very grateful!

After 3 hours in the waiting room, thats what we thought the doctor said. Coop as in chicken coop? We took Micaiah to Emergency yesterday evening when he woke up screaming – clocking a temperature of 39+. This was after a day of coughs (that led to vomiting), high temperature, diarrhea and refusal to eat/drink. [...]
… except that he only says ‘mama’ when he wants something done (e.g. when he wants us to open a bottle screwcap) and we never use ‘daddy’ in our household – so its a real mystery as to what Micaiah means …
