robbie sings about Jesus?
The words ‘Jesus really died for me’ came through loud and clear on commercial radio. Imagine that! Twice in one day! The mellow baritone sounded like Robbie Williams – confirmed by the DJ. Apparently the song is very hot right now. Looked up the lyrics and I can’t be sure what its all about, but nevertheless amused (and slightly intrigued).

I don’t listen to radio that much either. So imagine my surprise when the song was played both times on my two (short) car trips.
The song is called ‘Bodies’.
My ears also pricked up at the line “Jesus really died for me,” but my interest evaporated rather quickly when the refrain “Jesus didn’t die for you! What are you on” ended the song. Ah, Robbie.
Ah, didn’t hear the refrain carefully. I did have vain hopes that this might be a good pre-evangelism illustration … the dubiousness of the lyrics put a quick end to that =)
